Designer - Brian SmithBrian Allen Smith has 5 years of fire sprinkler subcontracting experience. He has graduated from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College with an Associate of Arts in Business Management and then graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in Construction Management and Land Development with a GPA of 3.8. Brian also has his NICET Level 1 Certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology. Brian was employed with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers for 2 years as an electrician's apprentice. This is where he first began working in commercial construction and helped build Garden Park Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, MS and other retail centers. While attending community college full time, Brian, worked for Jerry Lee's Grocery in Gautier, MS. He started out as a stocker and worked his way up to Dairy and Frozen Food Department Manager and was there for 3 years. For one year he worked for Brown's Dairy as a vendor. He ordered and maintained a perishable inventory for his truck and delivered products to 44 various restaurants and stores. He kept everything above the Department of Agriculture's standards and received his Associates of Arts in Business Management during this time. After receiving his associates he then transferred to Mississippi State University to begin his studies in Construction Management. During this period he worked with ICFP, Inc. as a helper in the field when his school schedule allowed him to. After receiving his Bachelor's degree he began working with ICFP fulltime working in the field earning pipe fitting experience for a year and then was promoted to Designer/ Project Manager, which is the position he is currently holding. He also is proficient with Windows XP, AutoCad, HydraCad, HydraList, HydraCalc, Adobe Acrobat, and most Microsoft Office applications. He has designed systems for a multitude of applications.
